Horrible Customer Service During Hurricane
f I could give this company a negative 5, I would! We have rented a home for July, 15th - July 19th. Unfortunately, Hurricane Beryl has hit, one week before our vacation. I have a friend who lives on the same street and they have been told they will be without power for 2 weeks at the earliest, homes are missing roofs, etc. When I called to ask what the protocol is and if our home was in any condition to stay, I was told I would find out 1-2 days before we check-in, as this is "a day by day process." We were told we will not receive a refund because this is an unforeseen circumstance (if they have to cancel). I understand not receiving a refund if I cancel, however, if they cancel, I should receive a refund or be moved to another property. I am in a situation where I am unable to plan another vacation because they are unwilling to work with me, unwilling to check the property, unwilling to contact the owner, and told me they would contact me 24-48 hours before my 4 pm check in time. Their customer service is terrible! I 100% do NOT recommend using this company.
