Customer service zero
Saw a bike advertised on EBay and followed across to main company web site, where the buy was showing as available; with option to pay a £99 deposit. Paid deposit and bike "immediately' went as reserved on the site. This was early evening, so I thought no body will get a phone call or something the following day, however as no contact, called the office early afternoon, to be told sorry bike had been sold earlier the previous day and it takes 18 hours to update on system (despite when I paid deposit it went off sale immediately). I said the bike selling was one of those things, but to have to chase myself and being later on day, perhaps somebody could have let me know soon, to be told on a snotty manner they had been busy with staff off! Customer service zero on this one, which as a serial bike buyer make me certain there will be no further business to be done here, A local competitor stood in; called me back after my enquiry, took deposit, sent video of bike, prepared bike and made it ready just 3 hours after initial call and it was delivered same day, Communication is key in all business
