Failed to honour our signed agreement
After maintaining contact and receiving updates from Wessex Internet over a two-year period, we finally signed an agreement in July 2024, with the expectation of being connected by October. However, after receiving no further updates, I inquired on 14th October about the connection date, only to be informed that the connection was deemed financially unviable and that the agreement had been cancelled. Remarkably, the written response stated that I would not be charged anything, as though this were a favour. I have been out of contract with BT for nearly a year, awaiting this connection, which has resulted in financial consequences. I reside in the center of a small village, which is already connected to the network, and am not located in a remote area. Additionally, Wessex Internet laid a cable just meters from the bottom of my garden. I have already filed a complaint with County Hall, as I believe Wessex Internet may not be authorised to selectively connect certain properties while excluding others. Disgraceful conduct and customer services.
