Unannounced extra payment
We've booked a trip to Milan with p1. 6 tickets to watch the game Milan-Bologna and 6x 2 nights in a hotel in Milan combined. All together it was +-1200 euro. I've agreed that the date of the event may change and p1 travel couldn't be held accountable. I knew it could happen. So the event date changed and p1 travel updated me about the change. They asked if we wanted to re-adjust our booking in the hotel to the date that the event took place. The event was 1 day earlier so we needed the booking of the hotel 1 day earlier. At first I was happy about the service because their information came fast, transparant and correct. All of the sudden we had to pay €527 extra for the change of the booking in the hotel (almost half of the total cost). Never have they said that we have to pay more if they make an adjustment on the booking. Eventually I booked 1 night EXTRA instead of changing 1 night and we've paid just €390 directly to the hotel for the extra night. The price they asked was insane, especially when you know that we had no choice, the adjustment needed to be made to attend the match. Everything was really good until they asked that amount of money for a change we had to do without ever mentioning that it would cost extra. Never again, such a scam.
