Great from start to finish, even when something went wrong.
We booked a package that included a stay in Bali, a cruise and a stay in Bangkok. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and everything was perfectly organised and went smoothly except for one issue. We had a taxi transfer booked through from Bangkok Cruise Terminal to a hotel in the centre of Bangkok, one of 4 during our holiday. We were sent the drivers contact details by Booking.com so texted him, called him, WhatsApp'd him and called him via WhatsApp but never received any communication back. We contacted Booking.com via email chat but 2 hours later with no sign of the driver we ended up getting a taxi at a cost of £80.00. When we returned home our booking agent claimed the cost back from Booking.com (we provided conclusive evidence of our attempts at contacting the driver) but they refused. Booking.com provided evidence that the driver received our calls and that he supposedly called us, but no call came to our phone. The driver provided photos to prove he was at the terminal but they were false, showing an empty terminal with no one around when in the 2 hours we were there the place was rammed with 2500 people disembarking a ship. At no point did Booking.com believe us, they only believed their 3rd party driver and his false "evidence". Worldwide Cruises, however, reimbursed our £80.00 with no question and said they would never use Booking.com again for transfers. From our experience Booking.com take no responsibility when things go wrong so I cannot recommend them, as it's how an organisation reacts when things go wrong that count. Worldwide Cruises reacted perfectly and we'd have no issue in recommending them. 5 Stars!
