€176 survey - ridiculous quote
I can not comment on their work as I did not engage them. At the quote stage they were professional and they looked like they would have done an excellent job. This review is to warn others about a) the 170 euro non refundable survey charge and incredibly high quote. I had a standard job which they quoted 40% higher than what I eventually paid another plumber. The price I finally paid was on the high side and it was a reputable, established plumber, so not a case of going with a rock bottom guy. When I asked about the high quote, I was given what I consider to be a disingenuous response. In hindsight, given my job was simple and I sent photos, the survey was unnecessary. Had I not (finally) done my research and/or been a rush I would probably gone with their inflated quote. Either way, I am down 170 euro. Ultimately it is my fault, but there are plenty of inexperienced/under pressure people out there, and I feel this company is exploiting that with their survey costs and inflated quotes.
