Lack of professionalism and efficiency in carrying out referencing
I am writing this review to express my disappointment and frustration with the referencing process carried out by Rightmove. Firstly, I must address the significant delay in sending reference emails to my listed references causing unnecessary anxiety and uncertainty on my part as an applicant. Furthermore, it is disheartening to note that even after alerting Rightmove about the delay and prompting action, there was no proactive effort from your team to rectify the situation promptly. I had to continuously follow up and make numerous calls to ensure that the necessary emails were sent to my references. This lack of initiative and responsiveness raises concerns about the level of professionalism and efficiency within Rightmove's referencing process. In addition to the delay, I encountered another issue when seeking clarification from Rightmove agents. Upon contacting them, I was provided with incorrect documentation, which only added to the confusion and frustration I was already experiencing. This mistake not only reflects poorly on the accuracy of the information provided by Rightmove but also creates unnecessary obstacles for applicants during an already stressful process. Furthermore, I must emphasize the poor communication exhibited by Rightmove throughout the referencing process. It was disappointing to discover that, on multiple occasions, I had to take the initiative and contact Rightmove to inquire about the progress of my application or to provide any additional information that might have been required. I have been through previous referencing processes multiple times from different companies, and it was smooth and fast with online tracking and no need to call someone to write the wrong documentation. I strongly urge Rightmove to evaluate its current referencing procedures, implement measures to ensure promptness and accuracy and establish effective lines of communication with its customers. Otherwise, I really hope I don't have to deal with Rightmove again. Update: The only helpful person was James, when I called he introduced himself, has good communication skills and was the only one who put me on hold and read all the previous documentation to understand the situation and listen to me and concluded the call by giving me his action plan. I still don't recommend their service and will give feedback to my letting agency.
