Are Rightmove restricting you from selling your home?
Following my 2 previous reviews I have now had a number of telephone conversations and emails from and to Rightmove, and quite simply I am wasting my time. A very brief summary. I have a 3 bedroom bungalow with a garden, for sale, this type of property is in high demand a little over a mile from where I live. However because I don’t live within the Rightmove imaginary boundary there are very few potential buyers who know of this little village therefore very few searches for this area on the portal. The consequences of Rightmove’s unfair practices are: .as a village we receive very few viewings therefore limiting our opportunities to sell. .prospective buyers are restricted with the number of options available when they search on the portal. .Estate Agents are limited in potential sales due to the above. By the way my property is actually classed as being within the Central Bridlington Ward according to the Boundary Commission…….but not Rightmove. What comments did I receive from Rightmove, in simple terms I just received very poor excuses from people who had little or no knowledge of this area and quite frankly they were just not interested in the problems they are creating. My feeling at this time is that Rightmove have a far too dominant position in their sector to listen too or take notice of either the general public or Estate Agents. By looking at the genuine reviews on this site it is quite obvious there is a lot of dissatisfaction with this Company.
