The kilometre club is one of the most well-rounded and organized clubs I have joined. While running is the main theme, kmc goes above and beyond to create opportunity for members to try out other sport/activity, and in turn, supported the nearby community by bringing kmc members to their establishments. The club also supports charities of all sorts with runs and fundraising, which again brings together community and all are welcome to join on these occasions. This all takes effort, patience and a lot of time to pull together and it was done successfully on the regular. The coaches and team are welcoming, supportive and down to socialize, again creating opportunity for real friendships and connections to be made outside of just running. Watching it grow substantially in a short time proves it's got a track record to be reckoned with!
