eSky UNETHICAL & DISGRACEFUL OPERATION

I booked a flight with eSky from Madrid to Santiago de Chile via Bogota for May 16th 2025 for €540 plus fees and I paid an extra €40 for a ticket with optional cancellation. However due to personal reasons I had to change the flight to July 16th 2025. When I contact the company to make the date change (immediately after booking, and well in advance of the flight) I was told I would need to pay the fare difference of €391.68 which I promptly did using the link they provided. However I did not receive a confirmation email acknowledging my payment or providing me with the new ticket date information. I waited more than 24 hours to give them grace before I reached out requesting the confirmation. I was then told that the fare had changed again before they could confirm the re-booking with the airline and I would need to pay an additional €143!!! In my own currency this is an additional $245AUD. This is completely unacceptable. When I paid the fare difference this should have guaranteed me a ticket at that price. It is the responsibility of eSky to confirm this immediately with the airline- not mine. This is operational scamming! Who is to say that if I make that extra payment, the fare won’t change again before eSky can confirm with the airline and they will request MORE money. When I complained to eSky customer service and asked for 1. They honour the fare I paid with the first price difference or 2. They give me a complete refund. They responded saying they would refund the €391, with no information as to whether that would mean my flight would revert to May 16th or not. I again requested a refund of the entire ticket and was told my request had been forwarded to the relevant department for thorough review of the BUSINESS CLASS SEATS. I never purchased business class seats. This company is absolutely chaotic and extremely unprofessional and unethical! Getting information out of them is impossible! I have now paid approximately €930 and I don’t even know if my flight has been changed. My fear is that the company is stalling because the original flight date is in 3 days (which I cannot take) and then I will lose all my money!! eSky you have the chance to fix this so please contact me asap to find a solution.
