Fined for using a debit card. No pick up. No drop off.
Was supposed to be met at the airport - didn't happen. Came and picked us up 15 minutes after calling them. I booked using debit card information but as I didn't also have a credit card I was charged an extra 28€ per day in added insurance. Was handed a different car than reserved. Didn't even mention it before a asked why she was listing scratches on a car that I didn't reserve. Called it a upgrade - Octavia to Zafira...? And they somehow have top rating on discovercars...? Update: Somehow on the bill the additional charge was only 11€ per day. But in addition, there was no one at the office to hand over the car to and I had to walk (short walk though) back to the airport. Update: Never mind the 11€, my card was charged 200€ extra. Just doesn't say that on the invoice which by the way doesn't match the reservation at all. JFC!! Update: Reply: "Our representatives made an exception for you and accepted your debit card, however, in that case the suggested to purchase Full Damage Waiver, so the excess amount won't be needed. They blocked a secutity deposit, which must be unblocked by now." Not suggested; Forced. And even so, NOT TRUE. FDW was already purchased so on the invoice the stolen amount is just put into the main rent line. You don't think I looked at the invoice?? And that single line isn't even calculated correctly. The amount is just jammed in there... No, there is no blocked/unblocked amount. It would be much better if you didn't reply at all...
