Would score 0/5 if I could. Called in to discuss Service of my new Zero bike (privately purchased) & buy some new gear. I noticed a couple of fast charging points & thought that i’d take advantage of the free charging to top up for my trip home. Very Civilised! Until I went into the showroom to enquire about borrowing a charge lead. No! After me pressing the issue one of the 3 assistants went off to check after I pointed out they are a zero dealer, selling electric bikes, offering free charging. Still no. The parts guy said “we don't have to help as you didn’t buy it from us” Great attitude! After an exchange of emails this is the response from their general manager Simon Garrett: “ You arrived on site expecting a free charge of your bike, but with no means to even obtain it. Surely calling ahead to check things would have been sensible. You expected to be able to borrow a lead, as we have no way of securing the lead to our chargers, we do not supply leads as they would no doubt go ‘missing’ without one of our team monitoring the charge, which is not practical. If you were prepared to purchase a lead, why did you not offer to do so? I will make no further comment. I wish you well on your EV journey, but we, clearly, are not the dealer for you.” It seems that the staff & leadership aren’t interested in customer service. Disappointed and shocked and shall avoid.
