Extremely Unhelpful & Misleading Experience with LSAT Review
I am really disappointed with my experience with Kaplan test prep. I decided to go with them for my LSAT prep and was excited at the idea of a live online course, working through the materials with other students. What I did not expect was to be mislead throughout the whole experience. While signing up, the course is presented as all inclusive, even naming all the benefits of signing up and all the materials available to their students. What's not mentioned (or mentioned in very small text, or not all, maybe hidden in a random document that's not clearly highlighted), is that the main tests needed for the personalization of your course is locked behind another and unrelated subscription. You need to take three main tests (diagnostic, midpoint, and final test), so have to purchase yet another subscription in order to take the tests required to work through their course. So after paying $1300 for a course, you are left having to spend even more money just to access your test, scores, and diagnostics. I was very upset to receive the same error code trying to access my diagnostic test and getting no useful answers from support. I actually received copy and pasted answers from support as I recounted the issues I was experiencing. I am highly disappointed. This is not what you would expect from a test prep company whos customers are already stressed enough prepping for a standardized test that will shape their futures. I am very upset and wish I went with any other test prep option. Do not ever use a prep like Kaplan for your study needs. You honestly would be better off studying on your own and putting that money towards the materials you need.
