I rebooked my flight that I cancelled…
I rebooked my flight that I cancelled last July (it was scheduled for September) as the governer of Hawaii asked all non-essential travelers to not come to the islands, due to COVID. I had $384 credit for the three of us (my two daughters and myself). I talkd to the customer service on April 8th and rebooked the flight for the end of June. She quoted me the prices at $402 each, which was acceptable. The next day I saw that my credit card was charged $158 per person, instead of $18 per person, which would have been the difference. I called customer service immediately, but they told me they cannot do anything to fix it as the new prices were in the system. Even though I booke my flight on April 8th, when the prices were $402 per person, I was charged the next day prices, which were $158 more. They acknowledged that April 8th prices for the flight were $40w per person, but tole me they cannot do anything about it. Thet offered me to cancel my booking and rebook, but the prices have changed! I spoke to a supervisor and he was not able or willing to give me a refund and he refused to let me speak to a superior, saying that there is noone above him. In order not to lose my ticjets, I had to rebook my flight, as I had to use my credit by July. How is this possible? And why wouldn't anyone be able to to solve this, as I do have an email from April 8th, when I rebooked the flights, when the prices were $402 per person? All of them could se it in the system, but no one was willing to honor the prices I rebooked my flights?
