Himalayan Heights with Nico
As someone who typically travels solo, and is skeptical of company organized tours, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. However, I can honestly say this trip felt like one of those ‘once in a lifetime’ experiences you dream about and I literally have zero complaints. Everything was extremely well planned & organized, pre-trip communication was excellent, and the team on the ground was amazing. Led by Nico, and supported by Nono and his crew, there was never a question of being in good hands. As one of the lesser experienced riders, I appreciated the advice and assistance of the team as I negotiated the amazing course they laid out for our journey. (It was hard to believe how each ride could top the next, but the Himalayas are something amazing.) I think it’s also important to add that I was the only person who came to the tour ‘alone,’ and it’s a tribute to Nico that he fostered an environment where I (and everyone, I believe) ended-up feeling a real part of a great group. I finished the trip not only with countless memories, but a number of new friends.
