Good customer service, but awful experience
A relatively quick resolution. However, a frustrating service overall. Having used a NCP car park, which clearly displays options to pay now or later, I chose to pay online later. Getting home, my registration number was not recognised and so I had no means to pay. I had to then contact customer services, with the resulting call lasting just over ten minutes, to explain the situation, pass my details, qualify the time at the car park, and then passed to another handler to take payment. Otherwise you risk getting a penalty charge if you don't sort within 72 hours. If paying later online options are not available at car parks, due to insufficient technology from NCP, then this should NOT be provided as an option. It should clearly state to ONLY pay on the app or at a machine. Very frustrating, and very expensive.
