BUYER BEWARE

If a ZERO STAR rating were possible, I would give TokyoTreat.com a ZERO rating. HAVING READ YOUR RESPONSE, TOKYOTREAT DESERVES A NEGATIVE (MINUS) 5 RATING. TokyoTreat purposely engages in the deceptive practice of trapping consumers into subscriptions that automatically renew without them notifying you before they renew a subscription and charge you for it. Searching TRUST PILOT COMPLAINTS, I have found dozens and dozens of similar complaints. Yet, TokyoTreat refuses to change its deceptive, predatory business practices and renew subscriptions without notifying consumers or asking their permission to give consumers the opportunity to cancel before being charged. This happened to me, and I have been cheated out of $1,620 for three subscriptions I gave my children for Christmas 2022. In December, TokyoTreat.com renewed my three (3) subscriptions without permission and notifying me. The company is a subsidiary of Ichigo Inc. under the direction of Ayumi Chikamoto, CEO. However, Ms. Chikamoto knowingly engages in PREDATORY, DECEPTIVE BUSINESS PRACTICES and needs to understand that consumers are outraged when such business practices cheat them. California law states that if the initial term of the subscription or automatic renewal program was a year or longer, the business must send a renewal notice to the consumer containing certain required information between 15 and 45 days before the renewal. Ichigo Corporation and its subsidiaries TokyoTreat, Sakuraco, etc. engage in PREDATORY UNFAIR PRACTICES and hide behind legal mumbo jumbo such as your reply saying: "TokyoTreat is indeed a recurring subscription in which you would automatically get charged for the next renewal date as long as your subscription remains active." 1. You do not clearly inform consumers how predatory you are and bury your disclosed DEEP in your terms and conditions DEEP on your website. 2. You do not notify consumers before you AUTOMATICALLY RENWEW them to give them the opportunity to decline the renewal. HIDING BEHIND YOUR OBSCURE TERMS AND CONDITIONS IS BOTH DECEPTIVE AND PREDATORY. YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING IS UNFAIR TO CONSUMERS, AND YET YOU PERSIST IN THIS PRACTICE. SHAME ON YOU .... SHAME ON YOU.
