Completely Unsuable After Less Than A Year
Let me start by saying the support agent, Nicky, was one of the best I've ever interacted with. She didn't give me the run around, she escalated the ticket when necessary, she did her job to the letter. My problem is with the product and the anti-consumer tactics employed by the company. I purchased the Scuf Infinity 4PS Pro on July 7th, 2024. The controller was fine for the first 4-5 months of use, then started to develop stick drift. I tried everything I read on troubleshooting this issue, and managed to get it back to a functional state for a time. Then the drift returned, now outside the warranty window by a couple months. I managed to get it to hold on a while longer by using larger central deadzones, but as of the last handful of days, the drift is so severe it's impossible to play anything. I was told that there was nothing they could do for their own faulty hardware because it was outside the return and warranty windows. So here we are, not even a year later (the controller arrived in August of 2024) and I am left with a $200 paperweight. Thanks Scuf, you've lost a customer for good.
