Potential buyers beware!!

Potential buyers beware!!! Our experience with Marriott Vacation Club was nothing short of predatory. What began as a "private and exclusive" opportunity quickly devolved into a maze of misrepresentations and high-pressure sales tactics. During a grueling three-hour presentation, representatives made multiple false claims, including that the offer was "one-day only" and that purchasing would maintain our Titanium status. They never mentioned the $600 annual American Express card fee or that maintenance fees would increase by 11.5% annually in perpetuity. Most disturbing was the manipulation during signing. When my spouse expressed hesitation about additional costs, representatives assured her signing was merely a formality since I was the "primary person." Three months later, they switched borrowers without proper notification. The sales team mischaracterized this as a real estate investment that would "gain value over time" rather than the depreciating financial burden it truly is. After signing, our representative vanished—ignoring calls and emails during the recission period they conveniently failed to disclose. The financial reality is staggering: $8,776.38 annually for a single vacation week—an outrageous $1,462.74 per night—while our points continuously lose value across MVC resorts. This experience has been a costly lesson in the deceptive practices of Marriott Vacation Club's timeshare operation
