Unfair Charges by Budget Thuis for Faulty Fiber Box Replacement
I was a customer of Budget Thuis for fiber internet. After they installed the fiber box at my home, the internet stopped working just 1.5 months later. I contacted the company, and after an hour-long video call, they decided to send a technician to my home. The technician identified a problem with the fiber box and replaced it. Subsequently, the company charged me 65 euros for the technician's visit. Since the fiber box is not my property and it malfunctioned only 1.5 months after installation, I find this charge unfair. Upon contacting the company, they claimed they could not investigate the cause of the problem and suggested that the customer could be at fault, thus justifying the charge. This response is both unreasonable and irresponsible. How else was I supposed to resolve the issue without a technician's intervention? Consequently, I have canceled my contract with Budget Thuis.
