Better Course Providers Out There
I started my training with Future Fit in 2019, enrolling in Pilates, Nutrition, and Gym Instructor Level 2 qualifications. Unfortunately, my experience has been frustrating and disorganised from start to finish. After completing all coursework for my Gym Instructor qualification, finding a participant for assessment who was happy to drive and give up their weekend, I traveled a six-hour round trip for my assessment—only to be refused because I hadn’t written the participant’s name on one sheet of paper. Despite having my full portfolio with me, I wasn’t allowed to make a quick correction, and the thought of rebooking, traveling, and paying again was disheartening. So unfortunately this has remained incomplete. My Pilates qualification was even worse. After completing coursework and training, I was signed off as coursework complete, with only the practical assessment left. At the last minute, my assessment was canceled, but I was sent a qualification certificate—only to be told months later that it was sent in error. By then, lockdown had started, and I was left in limbo for months. When assessments resumed, I was 36 weeks pregnant and suddenly given a last-minute date to attend—obviously not an option. Determined to complete my qualification after investing over £3,000, I returned in 2024, only to be told I had to pay an additional £300. I was required to redo my Level 3 Anatomy and Physiology, even though I had already passed with 100% and the framework hadn’t changed. I also had to attend a lower-level workshop than what I had already completed in 2019 before being allowed to reassess. I passed, resubmitted my entire previously signed-off portfolio, and as of 2025, I’m still waiting for my certificate. To make matters worse, I later found out that others on the same course had only paid £1,500 for their qualifications. Throughout all of this, getting support from Future Fit was nearly impossible. Calls to student support rarely got through, emails bounced back, and communication was painfully slow and inconsistent. Alongside childcare and working, I have persisted, but I do not recommend this training provider due to their lack of support, organisation, and infrastructure. While the training itself was valuable yet dated, the overall experience has been stressful, costly, and unnecessarily difficult. If you’re considering Future Fit, I’d advise looking elsewhere.
