Stayed at The Rixo Al Bhar 11th Nov…
Stayed at The Rixo Al Bhar 11th Nov for 2 weeks it seemed at first glance a really good hotel the brochure sold it too us & we checked the reviews yes food was good a little mundane & if you went late for your evening meal trying to find some if the dishes hot was very difficult
Anyway most of the staff are a credit so good & they work so bloody hard long hours & most do it with a smile
I had 2 massages OHMYGOD FABULOUS worth the money she did my back & all my aches & pains felt great afterwards.
Here’s the down side of this hotel the rooms are so very VERY TIRED our room was poky the wardrobe was that small I couldn’t empty the suitcase & worst still had to leave it on the floor not even a suitcase bench to put it on
The dressing table leg was broke
The shower was leaking which I didn’t realise the floor soaked & I slipped in this tiny en-suite
Worst still no balcony only a Juliette balcony which you have to pay for we thought we were getting a little bit of luxury in a hotel in Dubai
We certainly wasn’t
Hotel is definitely more for families it says there are adult area they are but a tiny tiny fraction is for adults. BRILLIANT for Families cannot fault them for that but not a couples hotel & certainly not a room to have without a balcony
Would I go again to this hotel No mainly because it’s not a place for
adults only far too many screaming kids
Rooms are poor & dated the cost of our stay I expected a bit more luxury especially in the rooms
