I have been a loyal member of Romford Nuffield Health Gym for over 10 years, but I’ve finally decided to leave due to too many ongoing issues and lack of value for the price. The membership fee is increased every year without any notice or explanation, which is very unprofessional. No disinfectant wipes are available in the changing rooms, and there are no paper towels or sanitiser in the gym or locker areas. The sauna is colder than the outside temperature, making it unusable. The jacuzzi was removed, but instead of reducing the fee, the price has gone up. The swimming pool is often dirty, with hair and other debris floating – very unhygienic. On a recent bank holiday, I came at 6:00 AM (as usual), because a staff member told me the gym would be open – but it actually opened at 8:00 AM. No notice online or at the door. These issues have been ongoing, and nothing improves. Sadly, the price does not match the quality of service anymore. I can no longer recommend this gym.
