AVOID GigaTire: Lost Order, Useless Support, Forced to Buy Elsewhere
This was unequivocally the worst tire buying experience I've ever had. I ordered two specific tires from GigaTire – the exact OEM tires my car came with, validated as compatible on their own website – and shipped them to an installer recommended by GigaTire. The problems started immediately: the tires never arrived at the installer. To make matters worse, when I contacted GigaTire support, they initially insisted the tires had been delivered four days earlier. Only after the installer directly confirmed non-receipt did GigaTire acknowledge the issue. Adding to the frustration, the recommended installer informed me they couldn't perform the necessary reverse mounting on my wheels due to the risk of scratching them with their equipment – raising questions about GigaTire's vetting process for recommended installers. Instead of a swift resolution for the lost shipment, GigaTire customer service stated I had to wait 72 business hours for them to simply investigate. Reaching support is another hurdle; direct calls aren't possible, you must request a callback, which frequently doesn't even occur. Due to the urgency of needing functional tires and GigaTire's delays, I was forced to purchase replacements elsewhere, incurring significant additional costs and inconvenience. As of writing this review, it has been four days – well past their stated 72-hour investigation window – and there is still absolutely no resolution or update from GigaTire regarding my lost order. Based on this experience – lost merchandise, poor installer recommendation, abysmal and unreachable customer support, and failure to resolve issues within their own timeframe – I strongly advise potential customers to avoid GigaTire.
