Do not expect roaming, customer service or a hotspot with 48. Go with Three instead.

I have had issues with my hotspot since I joined 48 back in march, I was not to bothered until I need to hotspot to my family and my laptop for college. Contacted them and changing the APN settings worked once. Contacted again and got referred to Apple. Apple with excellent customer service ran diagnostic and discovered it was a carrier issue. I went back to 48 and they kept pawning me off with usual tactics, restart the phone I am contacting them on and promising you won't get cut off and getting cut off. I eventually got through to an agent who only seemed like he wanted to help me after I mentioned an escalation and he pawned me off again referring me to Apple again. It is a CARRIER ISSUE not a device issue. UK roaming also does not work, I reccomend a £20 top up for a pay as you go SIM card from Three instead of trying to use this companies rubbish roaming. Nothing but grief from this company and will be requesting a PAC code as soon as I can. [Edit] I have switched to Three which is their parent company and my hotspot issue is instantly resolved, paying the extra money is worth it.
