Ongoing mobile data problems
I moved to Lebara in August last year. All was fine until I went on holiday on 4th June. I was relying on my phone for bookings, payments, tickets etc. After a couple of days my mobile data stopped working and I was unable to do anything other than make and receive voice calls and send and receive SMS messages. This caused all sorts of problems especially as I couldn't use maps for navigation. Despite numerous calls to Lebara and being asked to carry out network resets, check my mobile data settings etc nothing has worked and it still hasn't been fixed to date (12th July). I have been promised return calls on numerous occasions which never come and it has supposedly been escalated at least twice, I no longer believe this, I think its just a line that's trotted out, as are all the apologies. It was suggested my phone might be the issue and so after a chat with techs at my local Apple store I bought a new one but this wasn't the case as I still have the problem so I am now no further on and hundreds of pounds out of pocket. I have all but given up now, it's made life so difficult because pretty much everything relies on an App these days. I honestly don't think the problem will be fixed and now believe that I will lose my number. I have been promised a call from a 'higher up' (their words, not mine) today. I don't hold out much hope for either that or a solution. Although customer services come across as friendly and helpful once the call is ended they don't keep to their word. I expect I will now receive the standard automatic reply to this poor review as all the others who give low scores do. Just another indication that they aren't really bothered. Update; As expected I received the 'standard' response (see other negative reviews, they all get the same one), I don't hold out any hope of anyone contacting me
