Travel Department trip on the Danube in this month aboard the Amadeus Riva was the best vacation I have ever had and I have traveled a lot. The boat was amazing, comfortable with excellent service & an absolutely wonderful crew. We dined on five star quality meals, beautifully presented with a lovely variety of wines. Our Travel Department guide Seán Crean contributed in no small way to the success & enjoyment of the cruise. He is very experienced, knowledgeable & entertaining. He accompanied us, with a local guide on all shore excursions. We visited four countries including Germany, Austria, Slovenia & Hungary. We saw Passau, Salzburg, Vienna, Bratislava & Budapest plus a couple of smaller beautiful villages along the way.
