Buyer beware

Buyer beware. This company is NOT reliable. A brief summary of my experience: I tried to order a futon cover, and then went around and around for days with their customer service department because they struggled to confirm my billing address (it's been the same for 20 years); meanwhile, the charge was clearly visible on my credit card statement, and VISA said there was no problem they could detect. After DCG charged me for the order, they wrote about ten days later to inform me the item was no longer in stock, and then took forever to refund me. I figured we were done. About 2 weeks later they emailed to say the item had arrived in their warehouse and they'd 'accidentally' mailed it to me. This led to another endless round of emails, not to mention their requirement that I go to a UPS drop off to return the item (I figured they'd count it as a loss and let me keep it, given it was their error). I should add, too, that I took a look at the item out of curiosity, and the manufacturing quality was VERY poor. I could have sewn a better quality one myself. Two weeks have passed, UPS has confirmed delivery, and I have yet to receive credit. I'm now in round three of emails with them. I'd estimate I've spent five hours or more sorting out issues with them. Note, too.... They claim 'because of COVID' they can't speak with customers by phone, and thus the ongoing run-around by email. Good luck to anyone who decides to buy something from them. I've never in my life dealt with a company that is so poorly managed.
