The program was well-structured, practical, and engaging, offering a balanced blend of theoretical knowledge and hands-on application. Each session focused on real-world teaching skills such as lesson planning, classroom management, and student-centered methodologies, supported by interactive activities and teaching demos. As someone without a formal background in education, I found the course accessible and supportive. Constructive feedback on assignments significantly contributed to my growth and confidence as a teacher. I especially appreciated the focus on integrating the four key language skills—listening, speaking, reading, and writing—into meaningful and engaging lessons. However, certain areas could be improved. Some grammar sessions felt rushed and could benefit from clearer explanations and more real-life examples. Additionally, the course would be enhanced by more classroom exposure, extended practice teaching time, and stronger post-course job guidance, including support with resumes, interviews, and job placement. Overall, the TEFL course at ACT provided a strong foundation for a career in English language teaching. I would recommend it to anyone seeking a practical, encouraging, and professionally enriching learning experience.
