Reliable Legal Help with a Human Touch – Kudos to Avilash Chowdhury from Support!
I’ve been using Online Legal India for quite a while now, and they’ve handled my last couple of cases. One thing I really appreciate is the convenience they offer—most of their services are easy to access and manage. That said, there are a few challenges, mostly around communication. The main issue is that you can’t directly call your assigned lawyer. All the numbers they use are one-way—you can only receive calls from them, but can’t call them back. This becomes frustrating when you miss a call and have to go through the whole process of raising a callback request and waiting for them to call you again. Sometimes they call when you’re in the middle of something, and if you miss that, the cycle just repeats. Another technical hurdle I’ve faced is that most of their calls get marked as spam by Truecaller. I use both Truecaller Premium and Airtel’s spam filter on my iPhone. Because of this, their calls often get silenced without me even knowing they tried to reach me. This has happened multiple times. I’ve already shared this feedback with them, and they were receptive—so I hope they take steps to improve this. Despite these issues, I have to say the overall service is solid. Most of the lawyers assigned to me have been responsive and helpful. Sure, a few were not up to the mark—but that’s expected when you’re working with a large team. Overall, I’ve had a good experience. Customer support also deserves a special mention. There have been times when my case was stuck, and I needed clarity. On one such occasion, I spoke to a support agent named Avilash Chowdhury. He was incredibly empathetic, took the initiative to coordinate with the backend team, escalated my case to the lawyer’s manager, and gave me the reassurance I needed. That kind of customer service is rare and deserves recognition. In summary, Online Legal India is a convenient and reliable platform with a few system-related challenges that, if addressed, could make the experience near-perfect. They get the job done, and more often than not, they do it well. Kudos to the team—and especially to Avilash Chowdhury—for going above and beyond when it mattered most.
