Looks like I am going hungry tonight, and Eat Street doesn't care...
I ordered chinese food at 6pm through eat street. The restaurant closesd at 8pm and it says so online. The estimates delivery i was given was 7:30pm. At 7:50pm, I saw that the eta changed to 8:30. I called the restaurant and they did not have my order at all. I immediately called eat street and they said it would take 10 more minutes. At 8:05pm, a different eat street representative called me to tell me that the restaurant closed before they could send in my order and that they would refund me, but I would not get my food. It took them 2 hours to even put the order in. No apologies from this guy. Then, 2 minutes later, another representative called me to tell me the exact same thing. She was at least nice and apologized for the inconvenience. Had I known that I was not going to received my order, I could have planned something different for dinner. But due to covid-19 restrictions, all restaurants and grocery stores close at 8pm. I will never use eat street services again, and I want to implore others to use a more reliable service like grubhub, munchies or doordash.
