I Love Snacks From Japan. Where Are Ours??

UPDATE: Today is December 13, 2023. Since ordering, on October 4, 2023. We have not received a crate (not one!), from the 7, that we were anticipating. We have received a credit, for almost half of the compensative refund and I was told that our credits (when/if we receive them) could be used on any of their sites. (Japan Crate, Sugio Mart, etc…) We have, almost, completely lost interest in trying Japan Crate. And we are now putting more of our attention into looking through all of the interesting merchandise, that is available, through Sugio Mart. Hopefully, this situation improves, soon. I will update our review, when there is (🤞hopefully) a change. ~BeachFamily (Original Review) *I purchased 6 crates, on October 4. Three months for my son and three months for household. I had the idea to do this, because my son’s birthday was on October 22. The crates, sounded like a great way to add to our celebration. Today, is October 25. We did not receive a crate, for his birthday (on/by October 22). And have not received a crate, at all. So, today, when logging into my account, it shows that no crates are prepared for shipping, as well, NO crates have been shipped. After a couple of weeks, I did contact the company with an email, explaining how excited we are about receiving the shipments, in the near future. And I asked, if there were any updates, regarding the first shipment. We received a response to my first email, without any helpful information, I was told that they were behind schedule. I wrote again, several days later. We did not receive a response. My family was so excited about receiving these crates. The running banner at the top of the first page, on the website, says that delivery would be in one to 5 business days. It has gone way beyond this window of time. An obvious irony to our situation, is that they have the opportunity to send me an email, every single day, inviting me to buy more stuff. But they never embrace the opportunity to send us the crates, that I have already purchased. This is bad business and expresses disloyalty to customers. If a company is so far behind that, they cannot fulfill their orders. Then it is wise and prudent to stop taking orders until you can get caught up. Leaving a customer waiting, so long, that they are ready to ask for a refund, is not good for business. But if we do not receive them soon, I will certainly be communicating my need for a refund. We love Japan and adore the many cultures, within their beautiful boarders. I have been impressed by everyone that we’ve done business with, made purchases from, or have had the privilege of meeting, from there. I find that this company, Japan Crate, has not been a very good representation of what to expect when doing business with the companies or individuals whom we have had the privilege of dealing with, in the past. I will attempt to update my review, when something changes.
