The customer service was extremely…
The customer service was extremely poor! My contract was due to expire on August 26th. In June, I received a call from them asking if I wanted to renew the contract. I said that I would be moving in early August and didn't need a new contract anymore. They said they understood over the phone. But surprisingly, in late July, I received another email reminding me to renew the contract. To confirm if my requirements had been recorded, I called their customer service again and was told that no one had recorded my request to cancel the renewal. So I had to pay an additional £55 for one month. I explained that I wanted to cancel the renewal and lodged a complaint. The phone operator said there would be a complaint handling team contacting me. But the funny thing was that no one contacted me for two months, and even more astonishingly, my broadband service was still being charged. Today is September 24th, which means I still have to pay over £100 more. And I'm overseas and can't receive phone calls, so I repeatedly requested email contact but couldn't get through... Since I'm planning to take out a mortgage and can't affect my credit record, I can't simply cancel the debit card deduction directly... With such a complicated cancellation process, do you really still want to use this broadband service?
