Poor customer service.
Recently rented an apartment through Newman that I lived in for just over one year. The apartment itself was perfect with no issues, however the customer service and professionalism I recieved from Newman was nothing less than poor. The impression I got was that they were quick enough to ask me for the deposit money and show me around any apartment I was interested in, however when trying to vacate the property I was passed around between departments over the phone and messed around for weeks before being given my deposit back. Even after weeks of phone calls and emails I still had to chase my own money and was given the wrong information; I still do not have my deposit back. Overall, my experience of customer service was very poor and well below the standard I would expect from an estate agents. I would recommend going through a different agent to save the hassle if possible.
