Edit: thank you for the email today confirming the taxi fare paid in advance will be refunded. I have been on many tours with a number of different operators and this one has to be the strangest mix of people which did not gel which was not Intrepid or the Tour Guides fault at all. However, the small group numbers did matter on this trip to the extent where it was a bother and the group divided into two sets of three. I'd suggest to Intrepid they are running too many trips at the height of the season and now diluting the market resulting in this group being too small for comfort. Also, due to the flight arrival and meeting time being so close together I booked an airport transfer which I could not find when I got through arrivals, so ended up taking a local taxi and therefore paid twice. I would not advise anyone else to book transfers ahead as the airport is well served with clearly marked local taxi's. I do not want to see the Tour Guides feedback results dropped because of these issues which were outside their control.
