Appalling Service Sri Lanka Airlines refunds
I had to cancel my trip to Sri Lanka due to a death in my family.After ringing and being advised that I would receive a full refund and filling in the online form. I got a refund reference acknowledgement email sent to me to advise it would be a couple of weeks but I would hear back soon???? I have like many of the other complaints made here have emailed the differing departments 8 times since April,within the company to chase the refund and they haven't responded to one of them,when speaking to the numerous customer service staff and being told they would raise the matter with the refund department I have still not had any communication at all. I am due to travel to Sri Lanka again with a large party of people for a wedding but in as much as understanding the country is in an economic crisis would not consider using this airline again or recommending to other people for their appalling customer relations..its diabolical. I will continue to pursue the refund by elevating the procedure to an external source.
