My first online backup - and I'm loving it
This is the first time I signed up for an online backup system. Up until now I always just used external hard disks. I was just worried that anything online would be heavy on my cpu and slow to use. Now I am actually sorry I waited for so long. IDrive is very straightforward to use and it just works. I have set IDrive to automatically back up any changed files once a day. If I am not online it simply waits until next time my PC is online and does the backup immediately. As it only backs up changed files, it literally only takes seconds for my documents. All unchanged documents are skipped. And I can easily change these settings if I am working with important stuff, so it backs up continually, or once an hour. I also love that IDrive is neither Google nor Microsoft. Don't get me wrong, I like and use Gmail and Windows products and services, but it is nice that an independent company is looking after my backups. I am more than happy to recommend IDrive and even happier that I now have a great online backup service.
