Waste of time
Waste of time. Complained about my old utility company overcharging us for the last 7 years. Seems the utility companies do not have to explain anything to you about your current meter set up, ie day/night rate or flat rate. They could ask you, but it seems they don’t feel the need. You should KNOW what type of meter you have when you buy apparently. Blame the estate agent, the previous owner, yourself for not asking, but not the utility company who have the information to hand as it’s what they use to bill you. It’s down to you to understand your utility bill, the buck stops with you, it’s your own fault! The utility companies can point the finger at you, their customer, and say you should know how to read your bill, we send it to you every month. They don’t have a duty of care to make sure you understand their services, you just should! I knew from the first call with the lady from EO that she would rule in their favour and today she called to confirm so. Anything bill related I feel you will be on a losing wicket as you should have known!
