Zero Rating Not recommended. First heard from Project Solar from Solar Funding, which at the time I felt was very pushy! Anyway, agreed to have the survey. One of the first things Chris asked was if I'd already had a quote (which I have). He promptly responded that they are the most expensive! He then questioned the size battery I had been quoted for, and proceeded to try and convince me that I didn't need one of that size. My response; "so you want to sell something less to me and charge me more money!" Next he started on finance, urging me to purchase on finance as you get section 75 protection. I pointed out that I would be using a credit card for at least the deposit, which grant me section 75 protection. He insisted that it would only protect the deposit! Then there was the warranty. LIFETIME WARRANT. We all know that LIFETIME is the life of the business, seen it time and time again with Double Glasing companies. He stated 99 year warranty! Who has ever know a battery or Solar panel lasting 99 years! What garbage. He refused to give me a price until my wife was home. I made it clear that I was the one who has instigated this and done all the research, and will ultimately make the decision. He still refused to give a price, so I told him he might as well leave. Looking now at the reviews, I certainly wouldn't have gone with Project Solar.
