Hit by eftpos machine for being too slow
On Wednesday 2nd June 14:54 I finished my groceries and waiting at checkout, the lady before me was taking awhile to reload her groceries. The female at the register asked me to move along, I replied, wait for the lady to finish as we are social distancing. She started scanning my groceries and by the time I got to reload my trolley she had nearly finished. She yelled out the price and asked cash or card. I replied card and told her she will have to wait until I’m ready. As I was loading my trolley, she swung the eftpos machine around and hit me on the point of my right elbow. It hurt , she apologised with a smile on her face. I paid and took my trolley to the bagging bench. I had pain in my arm and decided to tell her about it. Firstly she said, “you walked into it”. I reminded her I was standing there loading my trolley and you swung it around quickly. She asked me if I wanted to fill out an incident report. I thought, yeah as soon as I walk out the door it’s in the bin. I told her I would make a phone call or something. I’ve been shopping there twice a week since the opening and this passive aggressive psycho who likes to hit people who are slow has put an end to that. I won’t set foot in another Aldi store again.
