Terrible customer service on 800# When stores there is…

When I buy from the stores there is never a problem. The people are nice and everything goes well. I wish I could say the same when I call the 800#. I have been a good customer of Lakeshore Learning having 8 grandchildren but every time I want to use a $5 reward they send me via email there is an issue. To buy two paint sets took 3 people because my rewards wouldn’t work. I had 636 points which everyone agreed. It subtracted 500 points for the $5 reward I redeemed leaving 136 points but nobody could figure out where the reward went. I spent close to an hour on the phone. Finally, the third person saw there was a glitch in the system. If this happened once I could understand but every time there is a reward involved I get the feeling they don’t want to give it to you. If I was not persistent they would not have given it to me. It’s only $5 but it is the principle of the thing. You get an email saying you have 636 points and you earned it. Using it is another story. All they had to do was look up how much I order and know that I was not trying to rip them off. Terrible customer service at the 800 #. Goodbye Lakeshore Learning.
