they do no favor
I have used them several times but I can as knowledge the following: it’s either great or absolutely awful. We have had orders picked up to run and then canceled a LONG time later, with no notice. So we are waiting on our food and it never comes…and then the restaurant will close. Other times I have my food in 20 minutes, piping hot. And in between there are 90+ minute waits. The runners will pick up the orders in the app and then dump them so your runner can change far too many times before it arrives. I’ve been with people who order and it is picked up, progresses, and then the runner will just stop answering communication and the items never arrive. Customer service is about as useless as possible. The only option is to text them. You might get a response, but it’s just going to tell you they don’t know how to help or that it’s somehow your fault. I finally deleted the app. This is not H‑E‑B level customer service and it’s going to end up harming the stores’ rep as well. (Last night my groceries took more than an hour to be delivered and the delivery person didn’t even bother ringing my bell. And I live no more than 15 minutes from 4 H‑E‑B stores. So where this order came from, I couldn’t tell you.)
