Preying on vulnerable people
I'm disgusted with Mazuma Mobile, and my experience has been very similar to other 1* reviews I've read on here so its certainly not unique. Sent my phone off after photographing it first for evidence of the condition - no major scratches or marks, few very minor ones but its always been in a case so we're not talking dropped from a height damage here. Mazuma received the phone and offered me far lower than it's worth, so I asked how they reached their decision. In response, they send me some really alarming photos of my phone, that looked as though it had been dragged along the ground or scratched with a brick - literally covered in scratches, marks and scuffs! Do not trust these people with your phone, I'm appalled at the condition it now appears to be in after being in their possession despite how much care they insist they take. I rejected their offer, and lo and behold it seems as though they run some kind of market-style bartering operation because they replied with a higher offer. Why try to take advantage of your customers with low ball offers in the hope they're desperate for money?! Awful example of preying on vulnerable people. They spew out the same generic nonsense about only assessing the phone in the condition they received it, but the photos I took and the ones they took tell a very different story, regardless of their 'special light'. Beware if you are a vulnerable customer or desperate for money - do not accept the first offer from these cowboys, they're trying to rip you off.
