Bristol: Felt Unwelcome. Dirty & Shoddy Room & Spa

We had booked the Bristol Harbour Hotel through a 3rd party agent and it was clear that the reception staff thought we were subpar because of this. They talked to us like we were children and they didn't look very happy. We were told we could use the spa but when we got into our dressing gowns and went there (through the bar might I add), the girl at the desk told us we couldn't go in until the next morning and we had to pay a tenner each due to not booking direct. So we paid. Next morning, went to the "spa". Tiny little pool, hydrotherapy features not working. Dirty. I had pre-booked a massage which was nice, so kudos to the masseuse she was great. The only other redeeming factor was the bed was comfy. My husband ordered a draft pint of Peroni and it didn't taste right so they poured another and that didn't taste right either. Won't be back!
