We won't be troubling these guys again with our business.
Visited HM Car Sales with a view to buying a Corsa yesterday. As requested the car is on the forecourt open, no docs no keys, no one about. Looked over the car, looks fine we'll have it - but want the engine started and a drive too. That's where it all went wrong! Rung them, they won't come out the office to see us, we cant view any documentation (until after we've bought the car!) we cant have the keys (until after we've bought the car!) we cant test drive it.... but they'll "Send us a video of the engine running." Really? Their excuse, they cant come out as "that'd be deemed helping us which is against the law (current covid regs)" Forget it, I'll send them a video of us walking away. Who buys a second hand car untested without seeing service hx etc? Well not us. Blame Covid if you want but we drove to another dealer and purchased a car the same afternoon - after test driving it, seeing the documentation and sorting a deal out. HM Car Sales.... make it hard for yourselves eh? Why not?
