I downloaded the NCP app, and get half price parking. Also, I carelessly used my old default registration, and had to pay twice to park, to correct the reg. Filled out the "request a refund" form, and got a reply 24hrs later confirming it. It's not a lot of money £3.80, but excellent service. Works for me every time.
