Unpleasant experience
As an old customer of travelrepublic, I booked a hotel in Corfu in January 2025 for my family (3 people). Few weeks ago (June) I asked the agency to replace a person from the group with another one. They said they would do it. As nothing happened I called again. The operator seemed very unpleased with my call and, after a discussion with her manager, she decided to cancel my booking. She said that travelrepublic.co.uk doesn't provide services to non-UK citizens and this is published on the site. Ok, but they knew this from the beginning and still made the booking and now I had my holiday ruined. She said this was the decision of her manager and did not offer any other explanation. Furthermore, she was questioning why I was calling from a different number than the one mentioned in my account (unbelievable!). I explained I was calling from my office and presented my personal number to be checked. Sadly, this was my last experience with travelrepublic.co.uk
