Rude & incompetent staff
I had an overnight flight with Porter, Vancouver to Toronto, on March 23 at 10:05 pm, PD 318. I consider myself a very modest traveller, the one who never goes to the toilet and claps when the plane lands safely. However, this airline is so unnecessarily awful from start to finish. Check-in took about 7 minutes per person. Makes you wonder if those reps at the counter are literate enough to check you in. On the plane, the flight attendants were rude. I asked for water, having pointed out they skipped me for whatever reason. I was not sleeping, ok? I was awake and they skipped me. I was watching the older female flight attendant touch just about every overhead compartment as she was serving drinks. I was thinking to myself she had horrible balance, because the flight was not shaky at all. They cut off the line right in front of me. The flight attendant told me I couldn't get water until the next service, and made me look like I was asking for gold. Very embarrassing. The next service wasn't until 1 hour before landing. They offer you a snack from a basket... I chipped 2 teeth with this "fresh" snack and now have to spend 4x the ticket price to have them fixed. Very rude, very rude, very rude... Please avoid them at all costs. Also, the seats are uncomfortable. No one wants to fly on embraer anymore. The only good thing about the flight is having internet, but I would have preferred getting a glass of water and a cookie and having slept for 5 hours. Avoid them.
