Consider planning your own family trip!
Serious concern with the communication about what is purchased originally, changes too itinerary, supervision of the children, tips collected by the group leader, chaperone choices and groups not staying together. I believe this could be a great experience if led by a person who is trustworthy, responsible, and it communicates well. I'm really not sure it it's worth doing what is paid. I would consider doing a family trip versus going through one of these tours. My daughter did have some good experiences being in another country, but there was some negative, and even one traumatic experiences of well.
