The customer service advisor I spoke with Ashish was great, alot better than the 2 people I spoke with on the Chat facility. My query was reference data usage abroad. My wife and I who are both Lebara customers flict between the UK, India and Cyprus. We never really use more than 2gb of our allocated 30gb data. We received messages from lebara re being near our 2gb usage whilst in cyprus. I contacted Lebara a couple weeks ago via their chat facility only to be told to ignore the messages as we were nowhere near our 30gb usage, so we did. We have remained in Cyprus and today we could not use our data, but more concerning we were unable to phone or text and family members couldn't contact us. Again I've contacted customer services only to be told about their Overseas Usage Policy, which I understand, but the told to add an automatic top up of £5. I've only used 27mgb of data since my plan renewed last week. So how can using no more than 2gb of data whilst abroad be excessive usage? Ashish was helpful and as a goodwill gesture added the £5 top up to our accounts. We will now consider our future contract with Lebara, so please be sure you are aware of the small print before signing up. The reason there isn't only one star is because Ashish was the only person that helped us.
